Inverary is a village in South Frontenac, in the county of Frontenac.

It's the centre of the largest growth area in Frontenac County and new services are always coming onstream.

In 1856 James Campbell suggested that the post office in the community that was known as Storrington be named Inverary, after his ancestral home in Scotland, ans that's where the village name of Inverary came from. The local township maintained the Storrington name until 1998.

Inverary - Food Bank Drop Off

1-5pm. Storrington Lions Hall, 2992 Princess Rd. Items needed are frozen meats, cheese, coffee, dish soap, ketchup, mayo, cooking oil, ravioli, shampoo, toilet paper, cans of stew. Anything you can give is appreciated.

Inverary - Bob’s Breakfast Buffet

7:30am. Inverary United Church, 4681 Latimer Rd. Scrambled eggs, sausage & bacon, pancakes with local maple syrup and toast. Cost $10 per adult, 12 and under $5. Juice, tea & coffee served at your table.

Saturday February 14

Inverary - Valentine's Day Dance

7pm. Storrington Lions Hall, 2992 Princess Rd. With Rudy & Saddle Up, cash bar and midnight buffet. Save some money and reserve your tickets in advance, call Marie at 613-449-4744. Proceeds to support the Storrington District Firefighters Association
