Harrowsmith is a village in South Frontenac, in the county of Frontenac.

It is known as the gateway to the Canadian Shield. The trailhead just south of the village is located on both the K&P and Cataraqui trails.

The first sawmill in the region was opened in Harrowsmith in 1826, and the village became a centre for wood based production, including mills, tanneries, barrel and carriage factories that thrived until the latter part of the 19th Century.

Harrowsmith - Crokinole Tournament

6:30pm. Harrowsmith Social & Athletic Club, 4041 Colebrook Rd. This youth team is raising funds in order for South Frontenac Stocksport to compete in the U16 Championships in Austria in August. Harrowsmith - Jeff Code and The Silver Wings Band

1-5pm. Harrowsmith Golden Links Hall, 4186 Colebrook Rd. Followed by a roast beef dinner. There will also be a 50/50 draw and door prizes.
