Notice: Community service providers have had to change how they operate during the pandemic. Call or research in advance to make sure the service is still being offered as described.
In-Home Respite (SFCS)
This service provides respite for caregivers who need their loved ones supervised or cared for while they are away. SFCS provides trained PSWs who aside from providing company can assist with toileting, bathing, dressing, and eating.
If your loved one has been diagnosed with a life-limiting or terminal illness, you may want to look into SFCS' Volunteer Hospice Visiting Service as well.
